Summer Worship for our Young Members – Volunteer Babysitters Needed! As in past summer months, during the 10:15 Sunday service, babysitting is available for our young members. This summer, we invite all children to join their families in the sanctuary at the beginning of the service. Following the Collect and before the Lessons, children will be invited to come forward for a short Children’s Sermon. Then the children from ages 3 years through First Grade may go with the assigned “babysitters” to the Playroom for supervised activities, rejoining their families during exchange of The Peace. “Worship Bags,” with activities related to the day’s worship, will be available for the older elementary students. Adults and Teens: Please contact Mother Maxine if you are able to help with babysitting on any Sunday during the 10:15 service this summer. Thanks.   How well do you really know what is in the Bible? If you ever have been in a conversation with someone who knows the Bible well, you are often at a disadvantage. Our Baptismal Covenant encourages us to read and study Holy Scripture. Join us Thursdays for our Bible Studies: 10:00 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. The Bible Studies meet in classroom 6 (or the Chapel if it is too hot). No Biblical knowledge is required. We’ll even supply the Bible.   Childcare at the 10:15 a.m. service will continue through Labor Day Weekend. The gathering is in Classroom 1.   The old saying goes, “God doesn’t take a vacation from us, why should we take a vacation from God?” Don’t forget, we have three services on Sunday in order to help you meet your Christian obligation of “remembering the Sabbath day and keep it holy.” Worship times are at 8:00 a.m., 10:15 a.m., and 6:00 p.m. (Chapel). If you cannot make those times, join us for our weekly Healing Mass Wednesdays, 8:00 p.m., at our Mission Center: St. Michael and All Angels, 2197 Jackson Avenue, Seaford, NY.   Please remember that just as your bills continue in the summer so do the bills at St. Jude. Thanks in advance for ensuring your financial commitment to our parish continues through the entire year in order that we might provide vital ministries to our parishioners and our guests.   St. Francis Food Pantry – is always in desperate need of non-perishable food. Please continue to donate. Your donations are greatly...
