Easter Lilies are coming down after the 10:15, Sunday, April 10th.  Anyone who donated to the Easter Flowers is encouraged to take a plant to a friend, loved one, or for themselves. Any left after the 10:15 service will be planted in the church gardens.  Please help the Flower Committee take the plants into the Parish hall after the service.  (Please do not take the gold covers or the clear plastic saucers.) Thank you.   2016 First Quarter Statements are now available in the Narthex (front of Church). Please pick up yours today. If there are any errors or omissions, please contact Rhonda in the parish office. Thank you.   St. Jude’s Youth Ministry invites children and teens (Grades 3 and up) to the Rogation Day Organic Festival at St. Francis in North Bellmore on Saturday morning, April 30th. We will participate in a special liturgy for blessing the land, work in the garden, make crafts, and share in a potluck lunch. Save the date! More information to follow.   St. Jude’s Youth Ministry is collecting coupons for pet supplies to give to Last Hope Animal Rescue in Wantagh.  Please leave donations of coupons for pet food and cat litter in the Last Hope donation box located in the Narthex.  Thank you on behalf of the homeless pets!   Food for the Hungry –The pantry is in desperate need of the following items: toothpaste, paper towels, toilet paper, bar soap, liquid hand soap and all personal hygiene products. Welcome Farrah Valentina Turney!  We welcome Farrah Valentina Turney, our newest member of St. Jude’s, through her Holy Baptism on Sunday, April 3, 2016.  Congratulations and welcome to our family.   Thank you to everyone who came Easter eve to help decorate the Church for Easter!! It was magnificent. • Sign up for the Altar of Repose is March 24-25 – Will you give just one hour to stay and sit watch with Jesus in the Garden? Please see sign-up sheet on the bulletin board outside the Parish Hall. Please note more than one person can sign up for the same time slot. • Sunday, March 13th and March 20th —Easter/Spring Sale to benefit the Sunday school charity of 2016, the St. Frances food pantry. • Quiet Day – Senior Ministry Committee is sponsoring a Lenten Day of Reflection on Friday, March 18th.  Sign up sheets are located in the front of Church (Narthex) on the table. Father Gable will be the facilitator. • Easter Egg Hunt—Sunday, March 27tth after the 10:00 a.m. service in the Rector’s yard. Bring your own basket! • Easter Eggs -Thank you to everyone who donated their plastic eggs from last year’s hunt.  Thank you for all the eggs donated this year for the Easter egg hunt. There are now plenty of eggs!  WANTED: EASTER CANDY to fill the eggs. Thank you to everyone who contributed to the annual Pink Coffee Hour for Breast Cancer. A check for $175.00 will be sent to the American Cancer Society. Third Quarter Statements are now available in the Narthex (front of Church). Please pick up yours today. If there are any errors or omissions, please contact the parish office. Thank you.  As of the end of September, those who have fallen behind in their pledge payments represent a $27,434 shortfall in anticipated income.  If you are behind in your pledge payments, please try your best to catch up as soon as possible.  Thank you. Friends & Family Trunk or Treat is Sunday, October 25th at 4 p.m. in the parish hall. Join us, as the children parade around the trunks, collect candy and vote for their favorites. Bring a potluck dish to share. We will provide desserts and beverages. Create and Donate a Gift Basket for this year’s Country Fair! Our gift basket raffle was a huge success last year. If you’d like to make and donate a themed gift basket for this year’s fair, please sign up on the bulletin board outside Parish Hall. Please type the title of your basket’s theme and its contents on a card to attach to the basket. Each basket should have a minimum $25 value.
